No spoiler-alert here! I've been digging through this past year's photo-journal memories and rediscovered this Mother's Day reflection ....
When kids in the family - no matter how grown up they look on the outside - still cherish their mom, then a heartfelt happiness binds that family close together.
Whispers, secrets, giggles... remember those days when it was almost Mother's Day? What shall we surprise Mom with? What can we make? Should we bring her breakfast in bed? Let's color a picture!
A picture is worth a thousand words, and it's worth the beaming smile on Mom's upturned cheeks. The thoughts children take to please their mom swell her heart with gratitude. No matter how big they've grown!
And in this case, the kids schemed to have their photo taken for Mom :>)
And of the grandchildren... what a joy!
Their mom is clothed with strength and dignity...
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful and loving instruction is on her tongue.
She has watched over the affairs of her household
not eating the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed!
Many women do noble things, but their mom surpassed them all.
Oh, a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all the work she has done...
And this beautiful family loves the faithful mom and grandma
who has loved them well and loves them still.
