Wedding Beach Photo - Edit Me Challenge 6

SOOC from Selena at Stoneyville

Week SIX at the Edit Me Challenge!  This beautiful photo is from Selena's first wedding shoot at Stoneyville
(and, btw, Selena is expecting, so pray for her strength through the ups and downs of pregnancy.)

Below is my edit.  I think redirecting the light draws out an intimacy between the husband and wife,
without compromising the vast, beautiful beach surroundings.
See below for the post edit process.

Post Edit Process:

  • Initial sharpening
  • Adjustments:  levels, curves, brightness (mask as needed), contrast (mask)
  • Rendered clouds (mask)
  • Photo filter (yellow)
  • Adjustments: desaturation, vibrance, vibrance again (mask), levels (mask), contrast/brightness (mask)
  • Stamp
  • Highpass filter for skin softening
  • Omni lighting affect
  • Burnt edges, crystal clear web resize and sharpening from mcp actions

I'll go now to snuggle with my own valentine of twenty five years.
I wish this wedding couple the same lifetime adventure of happiness and commitment!
