clicks (part one)

I'm posting my challenge entry photos to log my progress, as I discover how to click my new camera into submission.  Or is that submission thing the other way around?

I'm joining the MCP Project 12 this year to help push me along to practice those photography skills and to learn from others.  I really do encourage you to give me all types of feedback: composition, focus, settings, and probably many other details that I don't even know about. Until you tell me, of course.

The above photos are the beginning two January 2012 entries from me.  And we'll check back in at the end of the year to see how I've developed in the skill department.

The blog photos are also the result of learning photo editing, which I'm way ahead of the game compared to actually shooting the photos.  I enjoy clicking away at editing, restoring, composites, and creating. I've also joined a weekly edit challenge called Edit Me Challenge, where they provide the photo, and I can then edit any way I choose. I love learning, so leave me your comments and any encouragements.

The above is my beginning edit challenge that I posted from the first week of January 2012.

  2. Thank you! And thanks for the "thump" to get blogging :>) SOOC is an intensely technical term, meaning "Straight Out Of Camera".

    1. Hi! I use Photoshop - the CS4 version. Learning has been so much fun. Since you've asked... do you like photography and editing as well?
